The Shri Lal Shukla Library at Balram Krishan Academy is a cornerstone of the institution playing a pivotal role supporting the academic and personal development of students and faculty. Our college has implemented the Koha Library Management System, enhancing our library???s functionality. The library is now automated using an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). We also subscribe to a variety of e-resources, reflecting our commitment to providing a comprehensive academic environment.

Situated on the first floor of the college premises, our library offers an inviting atmosphere conducive to learning. It is well-organized and aesthetically designed, providing an ideal environment for browsing and reading. A full-time librarian is always available to assist and manage the library.
The library at Balram Krishan Academy boasts a collection of over 15,000 books, reference materials, national and international journals, e-journals, newspapers, magazines, past examination papers, syllabi, and various other reading materials. Additionally, there are CDs available on a range of topics.
Publications are categorized into sections, making it easy for students to locate the materials they need. Students can seek assistance from the librarian or search the catalogue if they encounter any difficulties.
Our college library offers both academic and non-academic resources. Students can find supplementary study materials related to their curriculum and enjoy reading materials outside their coursework.
Books are issued to students and teachers for a specified duration through a card system. The library has a structured feedback system to continually improve its services. Additionally, there is a system for recommending book purchases through various departments.
