Balram Krishan Academy offers a good classroom and student-centric approach to develop the holistic personality of our students and we are keeping our education standards high and providing career guidance to our students. The Department of Arts offers a course in Bachelor of Arts with subjects History, Political Science, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Education, and Geography. The Department of Arts offers a wide range of programs in the area of Language, Culture, Communication, Policies, and History. These areas reflect the expertise and research carried out by the faculty.
The College offers seven subjects (in different permissible combinations) to the students. Students have to opt for three subjects from the approved combinations for B.A. (Semester-I). Any two of these may be opted by them in B.A.- (Semester V), subject to the final approval by the subject teacher(s), particularly in the case of the practical subjects. There are limited seats for admission to practical subjects. Each student is responsible for the subject-combination chosen by her/him and endorsed by the admission committee.

Sanskrit has been the chief source language of Indian culture from ancient times. Following the rich cultural, moral, literary heritage of India, the Department of Sanskrit was established in the year 2017. Since then, the department is guiding and assisting the students in pursuit of knowledge in the various aspects of Sanskrit Language and Literature.

During the great socio-cultural movements of India, Hindi has been a vehicle of communication for the millions, and it was accepted in the Indian constitution as the official language of the Indian Union. To make it more comprehensible to the coming generations, BKA established the Department of Hindi in 2017. Since then, the department is consistently working for the welfare and enrichment of Hindi Language and Literature, disseminating the values enshrined in the various literary texts.

Establishing a mutual relationship between art, aesthetics, values, professionalism, and modernity, BKA established English Department in the year 2017. Since then, the department is serving a wider range of cross-cultural and overseas literary knowledge to students through various scholarly lectures, grammar, and communication-based interdisciplinary instructions. It also works on the multi-sensory grasping of knowledge via film-fests, presentations, dramatic performances, phonetics. Moreover, the Department curiously focuses on the various literary theories to develop precision, higher-order thinking, and a critical way of analyzing the literary pieces, so that students could develop a natural love for literature and grapple with professional challenges regarding language and communication

Established in 2017, the mission of Department of Geography at BKA is to advance the understanding of social and natural processes in a complex and changing world. As geographers, department is interested in where things happen, how people and places near and far are interconnected, and the impact of humans on the landscape and environment. Our undergraduate program cultivates geographical curiosity, critical thinking, and a rich array of methods for solving real-world problems. As a community, we seek to understand how the world works and to contribute to the conditions for a more just and sustainable future.

Being a professional course, the faculty of education aims at an integral and personalized training of young learners through Integral Pedagogy . It is our mission that the students who take their training here, become well-informed guides who will accompany the young learner on his or her journey of becoming a fully human person.
The Faculty of Education further aims at promoting values such as respect for Indian common cultural heritage, egalitarianism, democracy, secularism, equality of sexes, protection of environment, removal of social barriers, responsible use of cybernetics and mass media, transparency and probity in private and public life, observance of small family norms, national unity, and respect for religious and moral values. In addition, several in-service programs are also conducted for teachers and administrators already working in schools, so as to update them on educational issues and findings and to develop the required skills using modern information-technology and innovative practices.
